2014 FESTIVAL LAUNCH - Here we go
“Charity,
ever lovely in itself, is one of the brightest jewels that can adorn the whole of our Masonic profession”
After
much speculation, the 2014 Festival was launched to a packed house at a special dinner on Friday 26th September. The Provincial
Grand Charity Steward, WBro Stewart Cale, told us that he is very proud to be supporting The Freemasons’ Grand
Charity in such a tangible and worthwhile way, especially in view of the direct benefit that is already being received
from the charity right across the Province.
The
target for the 2014 Festival is £3,000,000.
The Provincial
Grand Charity Steward said that the target was realistic, and looks forward to working with the Lodges to bring the Festival
to a very successful and joyful conclusion. He wished to remind Charity Stewards that they should never feel isolated as a
support structure is in place which consists of area coordinators and the Provincial Charity Committee.
The target
is agreed and the stage is set. He wished all Good luck in achieving their goals for the2014 Festival.
